With all of the real and serious problems facing Quebec, Affiliation Quebec leader Allen Nutik declares the notion of a renewed Bill 101 proposal by PQ leader Pauline Marois to be a classic waste of Quebec's energy.

"The severity of the present Law 101 is a large measure of Quebec's problem", says Nutik,

Nutik says Quebec needs emphasis on more important matters like improved roads and infrastructure, a modern economy generating good jobs, and an education system that equips young Quebecers for life in the modern world.

"In a time of worsening economic uncertainty, Ms Marois' obsessive preoccupation with Bill 101 is just a craven attempt to return to the PQ's hey-day of popularity by shifting blame to "les autres".

Nutik proposes a better idea: "Why don't they bring back Réné Lévesque? That might solve their problem!"
