We commend the Gazette for last weekend's editorial and Norman Webster's op-ed column on the now conveniently destroyed referendum ballots.

In the interests of historical fact, however, we must draw to your attention that AffiliationQuebec, an officially recognized Quebec political party, the now dormant Equality Party, and the erstwhile Alliance Quebec all registered vigorous complaint and opposition to the ballot examination travesty.
